In Morehouse, about 160 miles from St. Loo in the bootheel. Heading out for Alabama tomorrow to visit friends. I’ve always wanted to see that balloon festival. Are you going up in one?

I’ve decided not to venture above the ground without a parachute. So, I will stay on the ground photographing and taking advantage of the surrounding mountains for photos also. LoL! 🙂

Every year I enjoy flying less. Not a safety issue, but one of comfort.

After years of airplane flights, I love driving more but, I have enjoyed several train rides and look forward to a cross country train ride. 🙂

Yes.. trains are cool. I’ve gone from Cheyenne Wyoming to Portland on a train and also from Sydney Australia through Broken Hill to the coast above Tasmania. Trains are fun–evocative of so many movies that used them as their settings.
