Little Duck’s Further Adventures
It’s been awhile since we have heard from Little Duck. As you know, since he is of limited vocabulary, he usually shares his adventures via photographs, and the same is true of adventures he has shared with us since I’ve been visiting him in Missouri. When last we saw Little Duck, he was sitting on the dash of Forgottenman’s car, awaiting my arrival. Since then, as you will soon see, he has been very busy.

Little Duck seems to have been very influenced by the Rio Olympics. Here I caught him working on his gymnastics routine on the steady ring(s).
-
-
I don’t think bungee jumping is an Olympic event yet, Little Duck!
-
-
(That brought him to a standstill.)
-
-
He worked awhile on this collage. He’s getting pretty good, but somehow the composition just didn’t work.
-
-
Birdy friends….
-
-
Really little Drain Duck is the newest addition to the Forgottenman household. He makes Little Duck into Big Duck by comparison––or, at the least, Medium Duck.
-
-
-
After that forced inactivity, it felt good to work out on the treadmill.
-
-
But all that exercise took its toll. A few electrolytes helped restore energy. Forgottenman tried to pour salt on his tail to slow him down, but made the startling discovery that Little Duck has no tail!!! That explains why it is so hard to catch him when he is up to his usual tricks.
-
-
Is it dinner time yet? What’s up???
-
-
Perhaps he can grab a few Jolly Ranchers from the candy basket in the living room.
-
-
Isn’t much chocolate ice cream left, so he may as well polish it off.

And so to bed, to dream of the next day’s adventures
-
-
When he woke up, it was to a flurry of packing. Seems the househumans are taking off for Minnesota tomorrow. Determined not to be left behind, Little Duck decided to smuggle himself into Judy’s bag, but misjudged the size of his tummy after all those treats and got stuck.
-
-
No worry, though. They had intended to take him along all the time, and provided him with his own little suitcase
-
-
which he proceeded to pack with all of his preferred necessaries. Which Judy eventually vetoed
-
-
in favor of a pair of socks and his favorite Jesus Lopez Vega T-shirt.

The WordPress photo prompt this week was “Quest.”
I think this also qualifies for Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge: https://ceenphotography.com/2016/09/23/cees-odd-ball-photo-challenge-2016-week-38/
I do hope immigration will take pity on poor Little Duck and show him the way to go home. ‘Cause he’s tired and he wants to go to be …

I’m afraid we’ve neglected his education in that respect. In fact, he hates to get wet. Yes, I spent all the time I should have spent packing following him around instead. That’s why it is nearly 2 a.m. and I just finished packing!

Safe travels on your next adventure. Enjoyed seeing Little Duck’s activities in Missouri. Was he hiding upstairs in Alabama, or did he sit that trip out, afraid of being savaged by the vicious Pabu?

Allenda, he was hiding in our Missouri home when we were leaving to visit Alabama. Learned his lesson, and he’s front & center & ready to ride to Minnesota with us.

Sounds like he has a pretty cushy life. Except for the bungee jumping. That looked rather serious.

Yeah. He was a bit confused about the bungee jumping. I couldn’t watch.

That’s so cool, Cee, mainly because when I saw you’d chosen it, I looked at it myself and I swear I’d totally forgotten about doing this post and I enjoyed it as though someone else had done it. Think I should worry? Actually, once I saw them I remembered, but still I didn’t know what to expect next. I’m in Houston, waiting for the plane to Guadalajara. By 8:30 tonight, I’ll be there and by 9:30 I should be home.
