I had ducked into Walmart for fast replenishment of kitten food between taking the kittens in for their spaying and neutering and Morrie in for his shots–two different vets. The car wash guy was watching Morrie —tied by his leash to a pole in the shade—so I wouldn’t have to leave him in the hot car. Needless to say, I was in a hurry, but had no regrets when I caught this grandma and grandpa entertaining their grandchild while the mother shopped for toilet paper. Charming. Charming.

Terrific photos Judy. I wish I had been there to watch. 😀

It was amazing how uninhibited both of the grandparents were. Wonderful to watch.

Doing ok! Thanks for asking! The internet is a little dicey yet, as kt’s terribly bright light (I’ll have to get used to wearing dark glasses! I’m feeling fine except for a slightly scratchy eye, which they say to expect. I have first checkup appt in about an hour, but I expect it will go well! First step crossed — now for the rest of it!

what is the rest of it?

Well — there’s another eye, a growth on an eyelid that’s probably a skin cancer, eyelid lifts, dental appointment, ultrasound and possibly biopsy of thyroid, endometrial biopsy, house re-piping, and whatever other shoe chooses to drop between now and January! Today’s appointment was good — the first eye is healing well, and the only things I can’t do are heavy exercises like tennis, running, horses, or swimming/surfing!
