About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

Uh, wow. WHY did she go in that jug anyway? Because things were wet and it seemed like good shelter? Why not come out again? What a journey! Good thing she has a great owner who is kind and patient.

She hates the kitten/cats and that is one place she can go and hiss in one direction to keep them away from her. They just want to be friends but she won’t agree to detente! It is warm and dry and dark. She just wants to be alone to deal with the shock of her mom tossing her out just like those upstart kitten/cats! Her mom is getting more and more absent minded. What’s a senior citizen cat to do? Find a cave and occupy it.
