Midnight Supper

The thing about a midnight supper is that it’s gotta be good but it’s also gotta be fast. This means raiding the fridge to see what can be easily and quickly thrown together. Tonight it was a bowl of Mama Memorial Goulash and a Rootie Tootie Margarootie. As good as they are pretty. Lovely glass is courtesy of friend Patty who won a set along with a basket and bottle of tequila in a silent auction to benefit Operation Feed, a local charity that provides food, clothing and scholarships for about 500 people in our village.

If you want my slapdash recipes for the goulash and margarootie, you’ll have to beg. If I get 7 requests for them, I will comply. (A shameless bid for comments.)

I, who am definitely NOT okcforgottenman, also beg you to publish your recipes. Again, I have NO relationship to this okcforgottenman.

Oh how you underrate my ability to detect your duplicity, definitelyokcforgottenman! I can tell just by your absence of apostrophe errors and unresolved parentheses that you are he!!!

Okay now there is a person I believe has never been forgotten! Two down and five to go! Recipe for rootie tootie margarootie is worth a comment, folks. You’ll feel a bit cheated by the sort-of recipe for the goulash.

Okay, Patti. You should know the recipe for Mom’s goulash already, but the drink is a killer. You’ll like it. Just need to go figure out proportions as I never measure–just taste and adjust. Three down four to go. Better recruit friends. Few in the blogging world seem to want to know my secrets.

My own very special margarita. If you are saying you’d like to know the recipe, I can raise the curious votes up to 4. We need 7 to inspire me to post the recipe.
