Setting out
Following the signs.
What can they mean?
Can this be one?
Snake or shard of old ripped canvas?
On the trail again.
More signs
and signs of destruction. Or construction.
a shopping cart and kin.
A greening tricycle,
a bicycle and an old chamber pot,
an almost red wagon,
New porch extension
with evidence of the old one.
and past wild games.
and a stone kid who will never swing in that swing. Unless, perhaps, on Halloween Eve, some trickster relocates him to his desired spot.
And finally, home again.
For Jo’s Monday Walk
What a fun walk around town — did you ever figure out those signs?

I have no idea. Many were just nails that held up earlier signs, but the little round discs are still an enigma.

I’ve seen them before somewhere, but can’t remember where, or whether they had any meaning. One looks like it might be a location marker of some sort.
