Earlier today, I wrote about an inventive new idea I have recently had concerning a new concept in cat food. If you didn’t read that post, you can do so HERE. Since that time, I have actually developed the concept, designed a label and gone into production. There is still some time to invest in what I’m sure will be a competitive product on the cat food market. Just the first of a line that will eventually also include squirrel, garter snake, rat, lizard and cockroach flavors. Here is the inaugural product:

Disclaimer: Fancy Feast does not indeed make a “Mouse” flavored cat food. I have altered and used their can design only as a means to illustrate my earlier poem. This is a joke, folks!!!!

Maybe try marketing a side item: a moving tray that looks like a mouse. Put the food in the tray, wind it up, and let it scurry about the house, emitting a lil “eek, eek” along the way?

And Tabby my feline is now disappointed. She had already pawed my credit card and wanted to order a months supply on her pawpad. . She said bird flavour was missing from the selection.

Australia, or rather Australian meat eaters and meat producers, are under attack by rabid vegan terrorist protesters at the moment (they blocked a major city intersection for over an hour last week!)
I suspect that after converting all humans over to see things their way and have us all eating fruit and veg that they will then turn their attention to the cat and dog pet food market and will eliminate all chicken, beef, lamb, turkey and no doubt mice, flavoured petfood.
It was a good idea but it may be doomed to fail before it really flies (bird flavour) or scurries off the shelves. 🙂

How do you suppose they’ll keep lions from hunting their prey and falcons from killing mice? I think all lice medications should probably be taken off the shelves as well and of course viruses and bacteria are living creatures as well. There go vaccines.

Well obviously, after all, vaccines can give you autism! (Apparently Australians are now wary about vaccinating cats, dogs and other pets for fear they will develop autism – i kid you not! 😦 )

While i don’t agree with the vegan’s tactics, it’s getting more difficult to be a concerned planetary resident of high intellectual capacity ( i flatter myself, naturally!) 😉 and still be able to justify the costs of farming and slaughtering the volume of living animals we humans do so i can enjoy a bacon and egg breakfast, or similar, purely because it tastes so good to my biased palette. 😦

And yet, how many of these creatures would be in existence if they weren’t a food source? Who would pay to feed a herd of cattle or sheep or goats or pigs merely keeping them as pets? I think the issue is the way they are raised and slaughtered. Men were first and primarily meat eaters and it is in the natural order. As are cats and dogs and lions and snakes. Cruel as it may seem, nature is based on killing and one thing being the food source of another. Only man seems to kill for the pleasure of it. Well, man and dogs and cats!!

You are spot on – the issue is how animals are raised and slaughtered for their meat that most of us consume without ever thinking about it, because that’s what we’ve ‘always’ done.
The vegans can claim it is no longer necessary to do so because they are the living proof and would even say it is cruel and sadistic (inhuman) to do so in the fashion meat producers, who see it as a business with business ethics and profits at the forefront of their thinking, are currently doing.
Undoubtedly herds of sheep and cattle and pigs may face harsher, more inhuman death in any wild they were allowed to participate in where they would be part of a food chain, but humans need have no place in that.
That in a nutshell is what the nuts are trying to say. 🙂

You know, they actually tried feeding cats and dogs all vegan food. They died. Slowly. Of starvation. Some people fail to get that not everything can be made all pretty and fluffy. Some animals really NEED meat, not “fake meat made from veggies.”
