Sale Day at the Knock-off Designer Purse Store
Shoppers are in a quandary. They’ll put up with no delay.
We advertised new bargains available today.
They’re seeking phony purses from Dior and Michael Kors.
Noses against the windows, they’re beating at the doors.
But they’ve delayed our shipments and we don’t know what to do.
The faces of the ladies first in line are turning blue.
The advertising blitz we did turned out to be foolhardy.
Our Chanels are stuck in customs, our Hermès bags are tardy.
We have the fire hoses ready. We’ll use them if we must.
The ladies’ love of Fendi has turned into a lust.
If purses were religion they would be the most confessory.
There is no other obsession like the one for an accessory!
This real Hermès just sold for two million dollars at auction!!! Has the world gone crazy? It is the second most expensive handbag in the world.

Yes.. I know that, but it is fun to have to get them to work together..There is an element of oddity that might not enter otherwise. Usually when I see them a first sentence pops into my mind immediately and then sentence after sentence, they just follow. I love this process. Addicted to it.

Do you ever wonder WHY people fight for these “fashionable” purses when so many of them are plastic and kind of ugly? At any price? I was just looking for a summer jacket for Garry — in cotton — because the one he had has died of old age and Garry getting thinner. The new men’s jackets — whether they are by Armani, Levi, Dockers, or some no-name Chinese manufacturer — are all ugly. Really ugly. Tight, short, cut weirdly, and in unattractive fabrics.
And yet … they sell.
Like those super expensive plastic purses from big name designers. What am I missing? Why can’t I love fashion? Is my fashionista sense broken? Sheesh!

For that kind of money, I could fix everything in my life that is currently broken! It really IS a mad, mad world.

I think it is really obscene to spend this kind of money on a purse that will probably be stacked up with 100 others in a closet when there are starving people in the world.
