Bob, will you do me a favor and try both liking and commenting on my Straightening out Nature post? Is that the one you were having trouble with? That’s the one I was on with WP for half an hour trying to straighten out. If that is the one you had trouble with, would you try again so I can see if it is straightened out? So frustrating. It won’t pingback either. I don’t see your like now so if it pops up perhaps the problem is solved.

I can see your Like on my anthurium post and it has your photo on it so it knows it is you. Did you have a proxy server on when you liked it, by any chance, or were you signed out of your blog? Is mine the only site you have this problem with?
I have explained the sites on another reply. I don’t know what a proxy server is. I wasn’t signed out. I go through all the sites I follow at the same time. Some register the likes, some don’t

Derrick, I have to relay this conversation I just had with a Happiness Engineer. Ha! The first comment is mine and the “He” I’m referring to is you. This is our back and forth conversation:
He says he has trouble “liking” other accounts as well, but not all of them.
I mean posts by other bloggers.
Can you tell me where this issue occurs?
Yes. 18 others liked them but both Derrick and Lovewillbring us together have mentioned not being able to Like my posts.
It could be a number of things related to their account. I see derric refers to a “thumb” so I’m not sure they are referring to your site, as we don’t use thumbs, but stars.
Do you know those users personally?
I mean, to rule out Spam comments.
just giving more info. I know you’re working on problems. “How Come the Thumb Chumb” is a post I did yesterday.
That’s what he means by thumb.. ha.
yes. both are longtime readers of my blog.
definitely not spammers.

Perhaps you can ask them to reach out to us, then we can have a look from their accounts side?
Perhaps it was one of my comments they drew the “thumb” idea from. However they came to this conclusion, they were trying to let us know that likes consisted of stars, not of thumbs! Ha.

I have just done so – I increased 30 to 31 – anonymous. The problem is when I hit like having read the post – nothing happens.

So, if it bothers you not being able to “Like” some posts, they ask you contact them so they can examine the problem within your blog as well.

I’ve never got anywhere with them. The only bother for me is that I never ‘like’ a post unless I have read it – so the bloggers won’t know that I have
