About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

No one EVER listens. It goes with the monumental stupidity that make people think drinking bleach is a good idea. I’m still flabbergasted that anyone would think you have to post warnings about not drinking cleansers or using the MOST expensive vodka AS a cleanser. And now the gun lobbies are suing California for closing gun shops, even though somehow somoneone convinced Trump to close them nationally today. Does that supersede the lawsuits?

Morons. This world is being run by morons.

If you do a little bit of reading on the history of epidemics and plagues through the ages, you can SEE how often they spring up (more recently, probably because of the size of the population everywhere, but also because of our ability to keep records). They are now predicting Massachusetts will be the next hot spot along with New York. Or, as Owen keeps saying, it’s less than 200 miles away. Mexico is going to be a hot spot too and everyone except your government knows it.

This is not encouraging news. About 60% of our local population is hunkered down at home. But the teenage extra-super-stupids are partying. They don’t understand or care that they are PART of a larger human species — or that they have any responsibility for anyone but their own egos.

Maybe it would be better if they don’t get old enough to breed. They can only make our stupidity even more stupid.

I just can’t get over Trump thinking that senior citizens should be willing to give up their lives to forward the economy! Kind of like killing social security I guess. And why not kill Obamacare? It would leave a lot more money for the rich to pay off their personal health insurance.

Some Russian sources advise to mix pure alcohol with pickle brine, but not to drink – to gargle. Other sources are incensed, screaming about waste of good alcohol to gargle and spit out instead of drinking it and forgetting the whole issue.
Which side are you on, Judy?

I throw up my hands at this one. I’ve received so many reports, shared them, then discovered parts of them were wrong, that I no longer comment, except to say wash your hands, disinfect with rubbing alcohol and keep your distance.

Our governor is being as proactive as he can — he received 172 (I think that was the number he said) ventilators from FEMA — all inoperable! He found a company that could repair them, and should have them back today! I guess that’s better than none, but certainly not very much help from the Federal government!

I hope you’re kidding! I think the exact opposite — California is almost as large an economy as the United States — and we grovel for every last penny that we receive from the Feds, whether for Coronavirus fight, firefighting, or other benefits of being a state! At least the Navy has sent us one of the two hospital ships — I hope that forestalls overcrowding in the regular hospitals!

Maybe do more research into Bill Gates and watch more of his speeches or interviews. I believe it was the ‘TED talks’ one where he shares vaccines could be used for population control. He also advocates things like tracking. Most people despise the man and within good reason. Speculations of him being responsible for COV 19. I am not on either side, but I don’t trust rich people. :/ When you have most of the world’s wealth self earned or not, it raises many questions because money can buy and does control everything.

While I can slightly agree, just because somebody looks to have good intentions does not necessarily mean they do. There are a lot of conspiracy theories surrounding Bill Gates including he is behind the COVID virus itself. Though it is just theories I do question it myself personally considering things he has shared in the past. I have questioned the whole COVID thing since it started as in I think it is a huge hoax. More people have died last year from heart disease, cancer and so on. More people died in 2018 from the regular flu and yet you didn’t see the media putting us on lock down and in some ridiculous panic. The stats show the majority of people who are dying from COVID are the same people who risk getting the simple flu(eldrly and people with underlying health problems.) Children seem to be immune d to the virus and it is not killing healthy people in any high rate. I am currently on self quarantine for suspicion of COVID (I have a cold and feel overall fine other than a sore throat , sniffles and little tightness in chest) I am even slightly asmatic and I am not dying by any means. The fact children are hardly getting it is really questionable. Bil Gates vaccines have killed thousands in the past and people don’t trust him even if he comes out with a vaccine. Trump is the worse president the USA has ever seen or close to it, but the president has hardly any control on anything. Corporations run America, not some puppet. All I am saying is I question everything especially the rich and powerful. There is something deeply broken in society.
