I woke up after an afternoon nap to this amazing sunset. No color alteration has been done. These are the authentic colors of the sunset. I took three times this many shots, but couldn’t cull it down any further.
That’s an amazing sunset! My cable service was down all day yesterday while they changed to new fiber-optic cable, and the quality of photo transmission is very much improved today — this is beautiful!
It is more peaceful in many respects, Debbie. There is not such an emphasis on “things” and more emphasis on family and friends. We don’t have the extremes of weather and trees and flowers bloom year round. Traffic is getting to be heavier as more people can afford to buy cars, and since I live in a place where many people come in from Guadalajara, I usually try to avoid driving into town on weekends, but still, it is the best of the many places I’ve lived in my life.
Amazing, Judy! Sure lucky you woke up when you did:)

I think it was the dogs who woke me up. They wanted their dinner. Then the cat completed the job.

Maybe they actually had their eyes on the sunset and wanted to alert you:

I can see you are on the doggies’ side. Actually, they are incredibly psychic, so you may be right.

My pre-schooler saw these and asked if the town was on fire. 🙂

Wow! Just gorgeous. And the reflection on the water is breathtaking. We’ve had some pretty spectacular sunsets lately too. We’re all very lucky.

I remember this every day, even when I get to feeling a bit cloistered.

Makes a person take a deep breath ( wearing a mask of course) and appreciate the beauty and the majesty of nature. Dramatic photos. 🙂

Don’t even have to wear a mask as I’m the only one here!
