So glad I had my iPhone in my hand to capture this moonlit sky on my trip up to my house from my studio. Looking at the sky over the mountains to the north of the Raquet Club in San Juan Cosala.
Oh, I LOVE how your living room skylight dome (just right of the chimney, for those viewers who haven’t spent time in your casa) makes a silver sliver crescent faux moon here!
Full Moons can give that right amount of light. I sometimes use a setting called Hand Held Night Scene but a lot of the time just use the auto setting. It is a fab photo ๐
My auto setting used to work but with the iPhone 11, it goes automatically into this night setting with a light meter and it usually messes things up. I think there was enough light in the house that it moderated it, although it did lighten the sky some.
Ok, Glenda, I’m in! How about “Blood Moon Over Chapala – A Lycanthropic Love Story”, a New Romance Novel by Remi Dykstra Bloodworth. Anyone else want to play?
Lovely photo.

You are so observant. I loved that as well but wondered if anyone would notice.

Usually the moon shots do not turn out… My camera adjusts the light automatically to ruin the natural effects. This time it cooperated.
