This is how Zoe goes out into polite company:
Photo thanks to Harriet Hart. This bag actually goes over my shoulder. Zoe sleeps
on my nightgown inside and also has a toy there. Most of the time, however,
her head peeks out of the bag at the top so she may be seen by her admirers.

Something wrong with the camera, though. It put wrinkles in my face only.

Awww — but I wonder how long you’ll be able to do that! How big will she get?

No idea but her feet are tiny and her mother was tiny.. Nope won’t do it when she gets bigger.

It’s a mystery. Hopefully the size of a small chihuahua but I don’t know what her papa was. Or her mama–just that she was small.

Oh so wonderful. Zoe (life) looks so content there in that bag.

I am so happy for you to have Zoe, and so happy for Zoe to has you. I hope she stays rather small, so like Tami, she will be going everywhere with you, like ( my 10# Tami does with me). I really Like the name you gave her too, she is beautiful in every way~!
I just got back in from a rushed two-day trip to Galveston, and Houston where I went yesterday morning.. My last Brother in law was doing very poorly, so I rushed to Galveston to see him. We were very close growing up, and he was my age, while my sister and I were almost the same age so we too were the closest of my siblings. When I got within 10 minutes of the hospice where ih was, they called me in my car and told me that he had just passed away. Just ten minutes more~!… But as it turned out maybe that had a positive side too as he was in great pain and all doped up.. They told him that I was on the way and he smiled and seemed to understand..The families of their three girls and Son were there along with several grandchildren, and I am very close with them too, they are all very well educated and fine upstanding folks, well known around Galveston~! They are the kind of people a person can be proud of~!!
As for my Tami, I was faced with no place to leave her on such short notice, so she went with me and I dropped her off with a veterinarian that I used and knew very well; when we lived in Houston. So she got a bath and checkup etc while I went on down to Galveston.. Since I was a small boy, my dog has been my one being that I could use for support in times of sadness. They seem to feel and know your feelings; being happy when you are happy, and supportive when you are sad.
On the other hand, when got back home early this morning both cats came running up like they were saying LOUDLY “Oh you are back, we were worried that you would not get back in time to feed us, brush us, and clean out our litter boxes”. through all of this Tami has not left my side, night or day, except for that bath, checkout time.

I have a friend who hhad two cats — one was “his cat,” and the other standoffish. When “his cat ” died, the other suddenly became a lap cat, playful, friendly, etc. They seem to ow when you are in need!

That happened with Frida and Morrie. When she died, he completely assumed her personality for a year.. as though he was filling in for her. Slowy reassumed his own personality the following year. He even lay in her spot and position, growling at Morrie when he ran by with a ball, as she had. Before that he was Morrie’s playmate.. and after a year reassumed that role. Frida did not especially like Morrie. Jealous, I think. Strange, strange.
