I’ll verify a dozen ways that I’m in the pink,
but I’m not as together as some folks may think.
The course I plod is littered by words I’ve thrown away,
hoping that I’ll come across some better ones some day.
I use no means nefarious to prod words into being.
My syllabic yield is rather based on what I’m seeing.
And so I am a plagiarist of wind and rain and flowers,
recording what is sweet in life and also much that sours.
Prompt words today are nefarious, yield, course, verify, dozen and pink.
If you keep writing them like that you have nothing to worry about when it comes to Inspiration~!

I love the idea that if you throw away words better ones will come later.

We are none of us quite as “in the pink” as we say we are. One of the great things about blogging is that you can be the blogger you promote rather than the crumbly old person you may otherwise be. Or maybe I’m just a bit crumbly.

So very well expressed. At least your nail varnish is pink

Aha.. you had evidence of that in the blog published a few weeks ago about smashing it on the bathroom floor. Fine memory.
