I like it, and in such a beautiful spot, but it looks like Owl will stay, and he should ~! It seems that Owl’s are always looking for another place. Several years ago I built and placed a “wood duck” nesting box down by my lake. Well almost immediately a little Barn owl took up residence, So I built another box and placed it about a block away, guess what, another owl moved in. Later a very large “great horned owl” decided that the tree above my koi pond was a good place to perch. Though is was great to see, his favorite spot was not to my liking, the cats, Tami, and other things just like to sit around that pond too, watching the fish, and that damn snake. I do have many dead hollow trees that I leave standing, and love to watch the little barn owls. Yours looks like it is finally at home~!
