My name’s Christiane. I just scratched my head trying to find out who ‘anglo’ is… And I’m more German than Anglo, unlike Angloswiss who’s more Anglo than Swiss.
I know.. Just kidding. I took German in college but never learned to speak it.. short of “Der hunt schlaft under dem Stuhl” and that is probably incorrect as well… Oh, also “Aber su sprechen fier su langsam!” Not responsible to misspellings! Am I causing you to shudder? That is one of two regrets in my life.. not being better in foreign languages and not every learning to play the guitar very well. Languages open up to world to one.
Must admit, Christiane, that I have a terrible time remembering names if they aren’t in people’s blog titles or signed as such on their comments… Just a glitch in my head that my over-60 friends admit they share. So if I call you anglogermantranslations, will it atone for my not remembering Christiane in comments? Pretty name, by the way.
