My dog Frida used to spend most of her time up on the dome of my house. There were stairs leading up to a terrace from which she could jump up on its rim and run to the top. All the neighbors and passersby knew her and that she was keeping an eye on the neighborhood. When she died, I bought this clay sculpture of a dog that looked like her, put her ashes inside of it and had it cemented to the dome, where she has remained ever since.
