    Beautiful photo, but the critter jumped completely out of the picture until I saw the closeup of the little chumping – jumper. What I do find most interesting is the fact that though the structure of the blossom of a terrestrial hibiscus are exactly the same as my moisture loving ones, there is a complete difference in the structure of the leaves of my water loving ones which look more like the cannabis leaf. This difference often brings questions from visitors which notice. I do have both but keeping my terrestrial ones looking good is a chore, especially during this terrible heat wave. I would be happy to show this but it would take a special post. By the way, my Star of Texas actually grows wild in the swamps of Louisiana and are really interesting to see the bright reds and yellows in the deep shade of those places.
