Bite My Tongue!!!


The Prompt: Time to confess: tell us about a time when you used a word whose meaning you didn’t actually know (or were very wrong about, in retrospect).

    I grew up in a family where some of us spoke Ilocano, some still used British slang and what we all agreed on was English was a fun language and we stretched and pulled it like taffy.
    You’d have been a super hero in my clan for that one.

    So I say Bravo~

      Ha. Your family sounds incredibly linguistic. I love your comparison, “English was a fun language and we stretched and pulled it like taffy.” Wonderful. I don’t know if I would have deserved the hero role comparatively!!
