Tapalpa Bound: Cee’s Which Way Challenge, Sept 16, 2017
One of the most beautiful drives I’ve taken in Mexico is this drive during wildflower season, up to the village of Tapalpa in the the mountains near my home. I think I need to pass that way again this year.

(P)luck
(P)luck
Those who count on karma to bring about their luck
might do better to depend on industry and pluck.
Carry your ambition ready in its holster,
for things like synchronicity are only meant to bolster.
Get an education, in school and in life.
Knowing what you’re doing can alleviate much strife.
Exercise due caution, but do not let fear stop you.
What you’re meant to stand on is not meant to top you.
Watch out for the blind curves and watch out for loose gravel
as you take the wheel to drive on roads you want to travel.
The prompt today is “pluck.”

Cee’s Which Way Challenge, Nov 30, 2016
This seeming bridge to nowhere is actually a loading dock for the tons of bird guano taken from this island every few years to use as fertilizer.
This is my submission for Cee’s Which Way Challenge.

The way to go may not be perfectly clear, but the way not to go should be!

Cees Which Way Photo Challenge-2015-Week 13

Which way is forward? I drove behind this man in his privately-chauffeured front-end loader for six kilometers before I finally turned off. I don’t know why it tickled me so much. Perhaps it was because we were facing each other the entire way. For awhile we just stared at each other. Eventually, he put his head back and feigned sleep.
