Finally cool…Night breeze blowing in from the dark, waves crashing. Sunset party next door has finally broken down into a couple dozen single lives and moved away. I feel more relaxed with each wave rolling in. I do love it here. The water is 20 feet closer to my front porch than it has ever been on earlier trips here. The beach is littered with driftwood, stones, and other flotsam and jetsam and natural basura from the last tropical storm. The streets still have standing water from it. I went in search of ice and something fast to cook–hot dogs–but then came to sit under the palapa of my porch and just soak it all in. I am a beach person in spite of sun allergies that keep me in the shade. It is so dark that only sounds surround me now. And the light from Lora Loka’s, the little cafe two doors away.
It was good to hear from blog friends. I won’t be able to stay away. I might not even be able to resist doing the prompts. This addiction is harmless, right? Cheaper than heroin and doesn’t rot the teeth. No calories. Addictions are okay if you choose the right ones!!! See you tomorrow with more to relate. As for NaNoWriMo, I am registered but can’t find any place to post. I actually have 3 chapters written, but alas, can’t figure out the system..Perhaps I’ll just post hints here…

wow – I typically enjoy a beautiful beach destination, as I find the water and sand to be the most replenishing. That’s one of the reasons Coronado Island is the best!
