I’d like to thank everyone who read my blog yesterday and many who read more than one of the postings I made. The result was that I had my best day ever for my blog, with 307 viewings! I must say you about gave my blog editor/co-administrator, Duckie, a heart attack as the minutes ticked away toward midnight and we were 9 views away (from 300), then seven, then frozen at six down. Then, at the last minute, some blog angel read a whole slew of posts and we were over the hump and still going up! It is very exciting to break a record and I think I broke my old one by 49 viewings. All of this was due to you and I want you to know that I know you have a plethora of blogs to choose between and I am most grateful when you include mine in your list.
xo—Judy (And I bet Duckie is quacking still. See his blog here.)
Why, thank you, M’Dear, for the props. (I’m recovered now, by the way.)

Your blog is something I look forward to for many reasons. Namely I find your words to be comforting, especially at a time when I don’t always feel that way. So thank you!

I am very glad to hear that. There is enough discomfort in the world so although it’s necessary to be honest, we can choose the details we emphasize and our attitude towards them. I guess that’s the way we comfort ourselves as well. Merry Xmas, your majesty! Judy

Thanks, ladybug. I’m interested in your name..Does it reflect the fact that you have recently quit smoking or have you never done so? Either way, a good choice. Judy
My bad. By simply doing a bit of research, I see that you have quit after 35 years!!! Good for you. I, too, quit after nearly that long. It may be hard, but not as hard as emphysema or lung cancer!!!

I have another blog “the happy quitter” it’s about my journey how I gave up smoking after 35 years. Ladybug is my nickname since a BBQ years ago, somebody stepped on a Ladybug and I cried (yes, alcohol was involved) :-). Bridget
