Take the Cobbled Way
At the corner of my street, I always turn left, then always stay far right to avoid scraping my muffler as there is a big depression to channel the water coming down the arroyo. Click to enlarge this picture and you can see a small trickle. A few days ago it was like fording a stream!
Wherever you are going as you enter my fraccionamiento, the way is always up! And the way out is always down.

Me, too, but they are difficult to walk on…I have few scars to prove this.

Cobbled streets are so fun and rarely seen here in the US. Wonderful which ways.

Some towns in Mexico are replacing with brick pavers–even one two block stretch in the small pueblo near me, but Ajijic is still all cobblestones, except for the main highway through town.

Cobbled streets look good in photographs. But yes, they are hard on feet.
