Had to look to see which one it was. That’s one of a series of small boxes I did making use of the heads of my storybook doll collection found in my sister’s attic a few years ago. I tried to characterize each one…Now that you mention it it is sort of creepy. I have another picture I need to post for you if I can find it. You’ll appreciate why!

It creeped Cee out! I guess the thought of me decapitating all those little storybook dolls. I think I made 5 of these. But, better than relegating them to some box…They gave their lives happily. (I get to construct their emotions for them. I think that’s why we enjoyed playing with dolls when we were small and why I still do.)
