I always go back and forth. I think it depends on my mood and what “turns me on” on any particular day.

Silly me. I originally had four different shots and was going to let people decide which they preferred. I ended up taking the other three off the post but forgot to change the copy…So my opening statement about which do you prefer made no sense at all! I’ve now removed it.

I was going to say … but there’s only one view …
Personally, I reduce saturation and brightness. Try to keep the pictures more or less as nature presented them within the limits of what’s possible.
It’s like all those blue trees I’ve been seeing recently in foliage pictures from up and down the east coast. Although I’ve seen amazing foliage in New England and elsewhere, I’ve yet to see a blue tree. It is not one of nature’s tree colors. Call me old-fashioned, but suspect these photos have been cooked.
I often err in the other direction, leaving pictures too dark and dull. It’s personal. I’m good — as long as the trees aren’t blue.

Ha. All mine was was cutting…from a wide scene to just these two sisters. But after I got them all up I realized it was no contest. I liked the closeup. So I culled the rest, but didn’t cull far enough. The pre-cull words remained. Funny how no one called me on this. Everyone’s entirely too polite!!!

I’ve been noticing more blue hair on my friends as well. Perhaps it is a worldwide natural phenomenon????
