Bougainvillea, Overgrown

IMG_9222IMG_9221

Behind the bougainvillea, honeysuckle and morning glory vines–all badly in need of trimming––is the plumeria tree I told Pasiano to cut down months ago.  Obviously, he doesn’t want to!  In between bloomings it loses all its leaves and is pretty ugly.  It is also really messy and much as I love its blooms, I’m allergic to them. Reason enough to kill a tree???

For a gorgeous evolution on an Amaryllis bud, look here: http://ceenphotography.com/2015/12/27/flower-of-the-day-december-28-2015-amaryllis-bud-day-two/

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

It was cold in Phoenix, though, Cee! Glad to be home again, although I had a wonderful time with my sister, bro-in-law and 2 longtime friends. Plus my sister’s friends were great!
