Fern: Color Your World
The landscapes were taken in Arizona when I was there for Xmas. The bird photos were all taken two weeks ago here in La Manzanilla. The ferns and the flower bud I took in my own yard this summer.

Can’t argue with ferns being fern colored. I mean, what could be fernier, right? Except maybe that sky. That’s a very ferny sky. Very.

I know. I have been hoping something would come up so I could use those. The color on her “swatch” was strange. The ferns are hte least like that color but since the prompt says “fern” I decided how could a pic of a fern be wrong?

Green sky happens usually before a big storm. Is that true where you live.

We used to say that a yellow sky meant a tornado was coming. This sky was near Phoenix so there was no storm. No rain. Gorgeous and unusual sky though. Did you notice the two tiny hot air balloons? only visible if you clicked to enlarge the picture.
