Superstition is our insistence that the world pays attention to our actions.
Bad luck is the world  answering, “You are wrong!”

(The prompt today was “Superstition.”  I kept it short and sweet for once–for Ann and Audrey!)

    Luck is an elusive thing … some people are just plain lucky. It seems to follow them around. Playing cards in games of chance, my uncle was one of those. Me? I do not bother for the odds are too great …
