Frangipani (Plumeria)––Flower of the Day, May 31, 2016

This is the tree I asked Pasiano to cut down twice six months ago, when it was in its messy dormant stage where it was dropping all its leaves to stand ugly and gray beside the pool.  I guess I’m glad he didn’t, but may change my mind when it is once again flowerless and leafless!

I like them because I can’ t smell them! I’m unfortunately allergic to all floral smells. Especially night-blooming jasmine. If these smell, they’ve kept it to themselves for 15 years.

Oh, I’ve always thought that frangipani flowers have a lovely fragrance. I love the name.
And I adore the smell of night-blooming jasmine. So sorry you’re allergic to floral fragrances!
Beautiful photographs! Thank you for sharing these!
