Our Own Little Universes: Pains, Rips, Stars, Itineraries and Insights
Yolanda and Pasiano must have thought I was crazy when I started packing a week ago for my 2 month trip to the beach. First, all of my clothes piled on the bed in the spare room, then art and jewelry-making supplies piled on one end of the other bed, computer and photography needs piled on the other end. Bags full of other art supplies. Then two days ago, little piles of spices and kitchen tools, canned goods, disinfectant for fruit and veggies, bags of papers I’ve been wanting to sort for 13 years. (There will be time at the beach, where I know no one.)
But now it was the night before and with the car mostly packed with suitcase and bags, I still had hours more of sorting and packing to do. I knew it would probably…

(Copying my reply from your comment on the insight page because I don’t think you realized you posted 2 links. Hope this fixes things for you. I didn’t remember at first but now I remember I was going to delete it and hten realized the first one had your portrait which seemed to be your trademark and I meant to ask if you want the portrait on the green leaf one — but then I was getting to ready to go out of town and it slipped my mind) You posted 2 posts before: the one you made a mistake “intuition” but with your portrait and a second one on “insight” with a green leaf photo. So I’ve deleted the “intuition” link with your portrait and then added this 3rd post link which is second one on insight and put your portrait on the 3rd post link. I’ve left the 2nd link up with the green leaf that was your first insight post.

Hi MNL.I always post a photo even if it takes hours to search for the right one because if I don’t, Facebook posts that thumbnail photo of me in a HUGE format and it is embarrassing to see all those self-images plastered down the page. Don’t know why they do that, as I myself can’t get the thumbnail to reproduce any larger. At any rate, if you ever have to help out again (which I hope you won’t as you have plenty to do) I always want the photo that is not me to post. Thanks..hope I soon have things running smoothly from my end. judy

oh, ok, I will try to remember that and do that next time. Honestly I will probably be experimenting more with this although I’d prefer to find something that posts a bigger thumbnail as I really liked that about the original Daily Post. I don’t do it on the Ragtag Community https://ragtagcommunity.wordpress.com/ though as I think since they made a single blog for the prompts, probably consistency in format is better. I’m experimenting with it on CactusCatz.com on the Tuesday Tummy (any post pic or writing on any aspect of food). I appreciate your willingness to keep trying too. Most people throw up their hands but if I find out about possible glitches I can warn people in a short paragraph. Thank you.

Darn.. I tried to enter your Tummy Tuesday but it looks like they remembered the post I’d made on Mr. Linky for another blog and I mistakenly hit the button, so the pinata poem does not belong. I did it again and the Belly Talk one does. If you can, you might want to remove the first one. Sorry. Strange that it remembers what I’ve done on another blog. That must have been what happened in ragtag as well. I am really testing your patience. This will all get ironed out. Just chaotic because it is a learning curve for everyone trying to replace the Daily Prompt.

no worries. I’ll fix it. yes, I think it does remember what you did previously. I always have my name propagate correctly but have to change the link whenever people have a Linkys on their site.

I knew it remembered what I’d done on the blog I was on, but didn’t realize it would take one from a different prompt. Now I’m educated.
