It was an old log cabin next to the Van Buren court house. It was badly damaged when the Current River flooded, as was the court house. It is now under restoration.
Went to (part of) college in Springfield, Missouri! Pleasant memories:) Thanks for sharing at All Seasons last week – Hope to see you back there- meanwhile have a great weekend!
“Missouri Doors”…were all of these taken in MO or is the first one a “Missouri Door” haha

All of them were taken in Missouri in Morehouse or Van Buren.

So you recognize these locations? What was the cabin by the courthouse like before the flooding of the river?

I lived about an hour from Van Buren and we went there before the flood but I don’t remember the log cabin. Sorry.

I’ve never been through Van Buren. Quite the meandering drive I’ll bet. Great captures!

Thanks, Junie. I’ve been through Springfield on the way to Joplin. That was right after the tornado went through Joplin. Terrible damage.

Hopefully, their house was spared as the house of our friend was.
