The only way I could figure out how to fit this poem into a tweet was to take the punctuation and spaces between words out. Here is the final product:

Interesting effect her Judy – it spun my head bit!

I’m not on Twitter, Judy. Remind me, though, of the parameters?

You can only use 140 spaces, including blanks and punctuation as well as letters. They have since expanded it to 280, but most consider that cheating!

Gotcha. Think I did one that came to 279 a couple of days back.
I’ll let you know if I do anything.

Well, well, funny thing. I did a piece last night that I haven’t yet posted on WP.
Just right. I’ll share it.

I liked the “forgot” and “for naught”. The sound is still there even without the punctuation.

Thanks, V.J. As you could imagine, it was a problem to confine myself to 140 spaces. Guess I could now use 280!!

Don’t ask me; I thought it was 180, lol.

Because it was hard to read with no spaces and punctuation??

Yes, but trying to figure it out made it fun! I’m doing well. Still have some swelling, but healing nicely. Following up with an oncologist next Friday. They will keep an eye on me for a while.

I started out writing poetry on twitter (back when it was only 140 characters and no linebreaks)… but removing even spaces is not a path I ever took… remember we had it as a prompt a long time ago
