Rain on Mosaic
Drop.
Flat.
Rain
is
sad.
Dropping
straight.
Falling
sure.
Into
a
world
of
blue
mosaics.
Glide on smooth.
Slide off easy.
Straight.
Sure.
Rain
is
sad.
Our assignment today was to write a minimalist poem. Last day of NaPoWriMo!!!!
Well done, but I am not sure about the sad bit

Just one side of the coin, Derrick. Later on the rain got happy! Happy ending for you.

I agree with Derrick. A net verse, but if we saw rain here, we’d be dancing for joy. The clouds all pass over, sometimes spit a bit. 🙂

Delightful rain drops, and I agree with you, Judy – rain is sad!

Rain is gray. Gray is sad. Rain is sad! It’s actually raining again today — we call it May Gray, and it precedes June Gloom. For the rain, my week is falling apart!

Sorry.. But didn’t you say you needed rain? My aunt used to just make fudge on rainy days. I’ve never made fudge in my life.

Yes, we need rain, but that doesn’t make it bright and happy! And we’ve already had 2 years worth this year! Fudge is a great rainy-day activity — did you not have rainy days to make fudge?

Yes, but we made popcorn balls or taffy, never fudge.

Aha! I’ve never made popcorn balls OR taffy! In fact, I have no idea what goes into making either!

Ooh — that’s a good idea — and maybe my spring cleaning will have progressed far enough that I’ll feel comfortable having company visit!

Not coming to the states or traveling anywhere after August, for a year, so you have plenty of time to get ready!

Oh — that will work well — another winter to add to the spring cleaning project! I actually have made a dent in it, but there’s a lot to do before I’m satisfied, and I’m ‘downsizing’ along the way.

I need to do that, too.

This was a fun and also busy month. I’m glad we spend it together.
Thank you for coming over often and letting me leave you footprints to my attempts. Today I obeyed and was minimal. And I’m sending you some happy sunshine for your sad rain.
