I would do mine but we took everything off and cleaned it to show the house for sale… it’s quite boring right now.

I love the drawings of the surfers and the people riding animals. Is that you on the pig? (That may be the weirdest question I’ve ever asked)

Ha. Yes. Allenda’s granddaughter sent these drawings to Isidro and me in thanks for making her the heroine of Sunup/Sundown Song. Christine and I colored them in. Isidro is up in the air with the paints. I’m riding the pig. Ha.

Did you click on the photos to enlarge them? There are some interesting little bits of writing on the side of the fridge, including the description of Mother.

I did enlarge the photos and read the magnet poetry, and I absolutely recognized the description of Mother. It’s lovely and brought a tear (or two) to my eyes.

Mine, too. I’ve been thinking of her a lot lately and missing her. Wish she and Daddy could have come down to Mexico to see what all their hard work contributed to at least for one daughter. I’m happy they had such a wonderful retirement, though, and so glad Dad was willing to retire early enough to enjoy it.
