Did all the weeds get carried away?

Nope.. they are chopped down and left on the surface for mulch. Still a few to get chopped down around the periphery. I’m told the corn will grown through the weeds on the back corner of the lot. It will only take two months to grow, says Yolanda. That surprises me.

Of course, I didn’t think of mulch! Does the corn grow faster because of the stronger sun, perhaps? I think everything grows faster in tropical climes, also!

I think so too, it is more of a problem keeping things trimmed back than it is getting it to grow.
