This is the first time I’ve seen an aloe vera bloom in this manner. It is a huge cluster which grew on the end of the flower spike that usually looks like this:
Does anyone know what is going on here?

Wow! I should of guessed that they bloomed, but I’d never seen one before`!

Only after 4 years and only in bright sunlight. I don’t know what has caused this one to do what it has done, however. I’ve never noticed this happening and can’t find any account of it on the internet. Life continues with its mysteries.
