Zoe Report # 9 Backyard Stills and Naptime

Laying around with Mom is okay,
but a puppy gets restless.
Mom has this special safe area fenced off for me,
but I think I’m ready to venture out
For my first expeditions into the back yard, Mom kept my leash on me
but let me drag it around––the easier to catch me with in case I headed out for the pool.
When Zoe arrived in February, Diego proved to be a good nursemaid, stopping herwhen she got remotely close to the pool.
When I discovered the ball, I watched it
In spite of my worst fears that they’d think she was a rat or opossum, they were never once more than watchful and tender with her.
Morrie watched from the gazebo, still dubious about me as an addition to the family,
so I decided to go up and see him.
We made first contact
and then I was ready to check out my new cool Levi bed.
It works just fine.

    We are charmed every day by these Zoe Updates. What a sweetheart. Diego looms huge over her and Morrie, unsure. Love this ongoing story of furry family expansion.
