I could not figure out what that insect was! I asked Pasiano if he knew and he innocently said no. Then I figured it out and told Yolanda to come look, but she refused. She insisted on giving them their privacy. They never moved in the ten minutes or so I was aware of them. Always something new to learn in nature.

An unusual photo of beetle ardor–looks like a perfect fit.
I like them all, but the tiara-clad little girl and her dance partner are especially special.
