There’s an awful lot wrong with capitalism these days. Is there a form a government that is NOT corrupt?

Oh, I don’t think so. They were differently corruptible, but they still managed to develop their own kind of corrupt. I really am convinced that GOVERNMENT = Corruption.

I think it might be ultimately irresistable — at least to most pols. Not every single one, but mostly. I want to be wrong.

If communism could emerge without totalitarianism, it could be a very different thing, but so far that hasn’t happened and maybe it can’t happen. I don’t see a lot of corruption in some of the more socialist European countries but maybe I’m not looking hard enough.
