Irises are not among my favories, but I would love to have this wild iris variety in my garden.

I didn’t know wild irises can be white. Up on Mt. Gilead, they looked exactly like garden irises including being mostly purple (not as deep as the purple you see in gardens here, but still purple), but it was less than half the height of a cultivated iris.
