It is, for flower identification. I kind of like the whole composition of the second photo, though..and like seeing the entire scene. Obviously, I can’t make up my mind. Like having to taste every kind of chocolate in the box!
Not at all like a box of chocolates — with photos, you can enjoy them all, and still have the box intact to enjoy again! I actually would have a hard time choosing the flowers shot — I think it would depend on the purpose for which I was choosing!
I like them all, each for a different reason. It depends on what you are looking for.

But they really take over. I removed them from a plot 12 or more feet away and they popped up here. Pretty in moderation but pushy, pushy.

The whole scene puts them in context with perspective, but if pushed I’d opt for the second
