My plant identifier says this is a Tatarian Maple Tree, but it certainly looks like a beautiful flower to me.

Have you seen them before? This one was outside a wonderful little Mexican restaurant in Sheridan. I have at least 4 other photos to share from their flowers.

They’re the seed pods – whirly-birds! When they fall from the tree they spin fast down to the ground. We had 2 maple trees in my front yard when I was little. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/maple/edible-maple-tree-seeds.htm
