Thank you, Judy, for re-blogging this article that sheds light on the evolution of devastation! I was close to tears all day Thursday as I realized that the same could happen here, or anywhere else in the US, and for many of the same reasons.

Thank you, Judy. I didn’t know the history. We visited Maui in 2013, and we had dinner at the Ruth Chris Steakhouse in Lahaina and saw a show there. What a sadness. I wonder what the world will look like in 30-50 years. I won’t be here to see, but I hurt for my grandchildren and great-grandchildren if this is just the beginning.
