      The 28th birthday is a joke between Kristina and me, Derrick. She is actually 42, but looks so much younger that for years I kept trying to set her up with guys much younger than her…including my nephew! Who was very enthusiastic about the prospect, actually.

    Beautiful faces. Friends to warm any cold spell. You’ve done so well acclimating, Judy. Above and beyond any expectations! I think most of us would have crawled back to California by now. (Acclimating to the new us not a simple thing)You have, as usual, appreciated the new till it is as much yours as if you’d been born and raised there.

        I love you, Judy. I went from Johnson to McCormick to Central High to HS 3 to Carey Jr high. Also taught night classes: English for the foreign born and basic English to men enrolled in Lyndon Johnson’s poverty program hoping to pass a basic English test . In New Mexico I was a tutor at the writing center for 7 years (evaluating papers and helping student writers , from English101 to masters thesis work,)and also went to teach 3 classes at University of wyo…to teachers starting a writing program . One of these classes was taught at a dude ranch near Sheridan and I got to ride horses every day. During retirement I’ve written 12 novels and umpteen short stories. Lots of fun.

            NO novels on Amazon. I didn’t self publish and didn’t try to send them to agents except for one which failed. It’s okay. Sheryl Lain, dear friend in Cheyenne, organized Wyoming writing classes and had me lead them. One was at that dude ranch. She knew how to get things funded, I guess. I forget the name of the ranch but the scenery and food and especially
            the horses were awesome.
            My novels were written in las Vegas…and five here.
            I do not mind not being published.

              Thanks for asking for my favorite novel copy. I didn’t know how to get all chapters together on computer in one book so they are all over the place, all mixed in. If I can find a copy of my favorite ,(hard copy) I would be grateful for your reading it. You’re a love. Truly.

              I read and enjoyed your first cave girl book if that is the one you mean. You should have all of your chapters for each book all together, Ann. It isn’t that hard. I can tell you how. If you don’t, they will be lost. Are they on word? You can easily put them into one document if they are. Time to get cracking, girl!!!

              Cave girl was my second novel (written in one month after my first novel Ghost Child written in one month, in the same summer) before I was ready to publish but it happened anyway!the publishing was propitious …got me a college job much later in life. I have hard copies of all the novels. I threw a couple away, realizing how juvenile they were. I don’t care to publish too hard. Love. Ann and thanks for caring.
