Welcome to “The Numbers Game #20” Today’s number is 141. To play along, go to your photos file and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find under that number and include a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title.
This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below.
An interesting and varied collection

Ha! Once I put his hair in a big pigtail sticking out of the top of his head while he was sleeping in his chair and unbeknownst to me, he woke up, put his hat on and went uptown to have coffee. When he sat down in the booth with his friends, he took his hat off and they all exploded in laughter. He took it pretty well. Ha.

I put it on him.. He didn’t even react. When he was reading, it was like the whole world went away. He’d had to leave school in the 8th grade to go to work so he was a voracious reader for the rest of his life. He used to trade Shakespeare quotes with the town plumber!

Sorta like you, Derrick, although I’m sure you went far beyond the 8th grade.

I don’t know why I don’t have more of my Mom. I guess my dad was always easier to locate. If he was home, he was either eating or in his chair reading or sleeping. He was a hard working man!!!!

That’s why he needed to rest.

Is the lady near the bottom your mom?
I like looking at each pic and wondering about it, since there is no info given.

No. Her name is Anne Wheeler and she is a well-known film director in Canada. If you google her name you’ll see all that she has done.

Thanks, Aletta..I’d put the coonskin cap on my dad as a joke. He was so wrapped up in the book he was reading that I don’t think he even noticed.

I wasn’t fooled by the coonskin cap, but I’m curious as to how much work gets done with that feline friend keeping the keyboard warm 🤣 Here’s mine:

Ha.. Now that she is bigger, she is an outside cat. She had three brothers and sisters and when they were small they ruled the house. Once they had their shots and were spayed and neutered, they claimed the outside and garage as their domain.

I’d love to have just one, but my husband is not in the right space for another pet. One day perhaps.

Wow, that was a great number for your gallery, with such a huge variety of subjects and colours. I hope my search produces the same.

A wonderful collection of photos, Judy! I really like the pic of your dad in the Amana colony. And your photo of the carpet pattern… I had a whole series of photos on another blog of mine called Shots that Snap! that was Fabric Patterns; it included carpets, upholstery, drapes, and clothing.

I have one of the restroom floor in a local restaurant that I love. That would be a fun prompt. As for my dad in the Amana colony, I had to take one to balance the pic of him in his work clothes with a coonskin cap on his head!!! He cleaned up pretty well.
