The black swallowtail butterflies are swirling around them and the tabachines as well, to add to the mood! I should take a photo but I am so hot and exhausted by 3 hours of sleep last night and then 3 hours in town that I can’t find the energy. Now lying here with 3 fans trained on me and I may just feel human after a few hours sleep.
I’m not by the ocean. I’m on a mountain above Lake Chapala, the largest lake in Mexico but it is fading away in the drought..No rainy season this year. It is at 40% of its capacity.
It is. That said, the year I bought my house 23 years ago, it was even lower. They had reduced the price of all the houses near the lake because it was predicted it would be totally dried up in 5 years.. but then it came back to full capacity. Fingers crossed this will be true again.
What a unique plant! Nice capture, Judy. 🙂

And they say faeries don’t exist. I imagine this beauty dancing under the moonlight.

“3 fans trained on me”. In your case that could mean 3 box fans blowing or 3 doting doggies watching your every move.

Woke up 2 1/2 hours later––cooler and a bit more rested. Poor pups and kitties got their dinner an hour and a half late. Guess what woke me up?

Sounds like a tough day. Do you ever bathe in cool water? Does the ocean stay cool?
