My friend Aurora generously drove me to Guad to try for the third time to get my papers straightened out. I got up at 5 A.M.to get ready to head out to Guad.. Got home at 5:30 P.M. It was a looooong day with lots of walking. Thanks, Aurora. They said they’ll let me know in 2 to 4 weeks if I am finally straightened out.
For Cellpic Sunday
I was taken with the photo of the car with the El Rey lyric on it. I had to go look it up because I could only “kinda” remember what the Spanish meant!

I guess dogs on the rooftops is a thing in Mexico? I know I’ve seen your dogs up there before. Looks like homelessness is everywhere. Very cool-looking restaurant and I bet it’s cool inside there also. Not sure what papers you have to get straightened around, but if they are travel-type papers and it’s a big hassle, that would raise my anxiety level.

Those dogs are statues. The building was once a men’s club known as the “Dog House.” I had not seen this when I put the statue of Frida up on my dome with her ashes inside. She was a roof dog..or rather dome dog by her choice. She could come down any time she wished but loved being up there surveying the neighborhood. Now two neighbors have put dogs up in imitation so I guess the neighborhood has gone to the dogs.

Yes, I saw they were statues. Not thrilled by the bldg’s history. I like the idea of the family pets being on the lookout over the neighborhood and fab on the neighbors adopting the look.
