Whether created by light or form, placed side-by-side or one within the other, placed straight or on a diagonal, I hope each of these photos presents the concept of two (or more) rectangles.

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

What a terrific gallery you shared, Judy! The image choices showcasing rectangles are perfect and exhibit great variety. I liked all the photos, but I did have some favorites in your beautiful gallery. The second photo, for example, brings the rectangles with two different textures as well as color contrasts. All the photos with water are gorgeous. The turquoise gate (or door) is stunning!

Thanks, Egidio..From what I read, this was last week’s prompt and I was a bit late. Glad you found it..Your commentaries were very helpful and expanded the theme beyond two literal rectangles.
