Rainy Day Morning Glories for FOTD Sept 28, 2024

A brief respite from the rain that has been occurring pretty constantly for the past two days gave me a chance to photograph this hibiscus bush with 11 blooms and numerous buds.  I cut some of them off to zoom in a bit on the photo.

About lifelessons

My blog, which started out to be about overcoming grief, quickly grew into a blog about celebrating life. I post daily: poems, photographs, essays or stories. I've lived in countries all around the globe but have finally come to rest in Mexico, where I've lived since 2001. My books may be found on Amazon in Kindle and print format, my art in local Ajijic galleries. Hope to see you at my blog.

we have a red hibiscus that not only wintered over, it flourished this summer. One of the best ever blooming flowers. Let me know when you email a prose piece. I have passed over some. My life so wild with me trying to cram in everything cuz I now go to bed by 8… Love you.
