Welcome to “The Numbers Game #75” Today’s number is 196. To play along, go to your photos file folder and type that number into the search bar. Then post a selection of the photos you find that include that number and post a link to your blog in my Numbers Game blog of the day. If instead of numbers, you have changed the identifiers of all your photos into words, pick a word or words to use instead, and show us a variety of photos that contain that word in the title. This prompt will repeat each Monday with a new number. If you want to play along, please put a link to your blog in comments below. Here are my contributions to the album.

Thanks, Sadje. Would you believe I am only 12 in that picture that is 5th from the end? My sister dressed me up in her dress and put makeup on me. No, I didn’t usually dress like that at 12.

You do look grown up in that pic. But on closer look there that innocence of a child on your face. 🥰🥰🥰

So many wonderful photos and memories Judy. I like the jewellery, the Rooster walking through like he owns the place and Morrie looking out the car window

You are most welcome Judy 😀

Thanks, Brian. What looks like a cloud behind Morrie is actually Colima volcano venting. It just happened to do so as I snapped the photo. We were driving to La Manzanilla and I had pulled over to the side of the road to snap his photo. Well-timed.

That rooster was strutting through a restaurant!!! It was an outside seating area. I hope he wasn’t intended to be tomorrow’s main course.

I don’t see that my comment made your filtration system. I think your flower is an osmoxylon..

Lots of fun pictures. Those ones of you traveling! Flowers, animals, events. That cat looks like he’s trying to figure out what to do next. Beautiful rooster. The dove with its tail fanning – and then the unexpected realization of the men’s heads in the photo. Fabulous! And I like the one with the bangles (?). ~Ed.

I wasn’t aware of The Numbers Game, what a great idea! One picture stood out for me – the silhouettes on the beach!

Love the old photos, especially the nonchalant reference to the bus tipping over! Here’s mine this week: https://grahamsisland.com/2025/06/03/the-numbers-game-75/

Oh how I love that photo taken in 1967 on the boat! What the NY skyline used to look like. Wonderful!

What fun. Which one are you? It looks idyllic. I love seeing these photos from that era. For us, swimming meant the stock dam (pond) that our folks or older siblings droveus out to that was 3 or 4 miles out from the little town I was from. Pink Sandy had built a float out of wood that he moored 1/2 way between its north and south shores and we all learned how to swim out to it and back from him. Floatation devices were big empty bleach bottles full of air roped to our backs. Your beautiful beach looks exotic in comparison but we probably passed equally enjoyable time.
